This service is for people who already know that they or a sexual partner have chlamydia.

Register online and fill in the questionnaire. If it is safe to do so, one of our doctors will then send you the appropriate medicine. We will normally dispatch your medicine the next working day. You will need to sign for the medicine when it arrives.

You need to take both tablets as a singe dose (i.e. at the same time).
Chlamydia treatment - what are the potential side-effects?
Like any medicine, this antibiotic can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea or an allergic rash. A full list of some of the rarer side-effects will be listed in the leaflet accompanying the medicine.
Chlamydia treatment - how effective is the medicine?
This medicine is effective at treating chlamydia if taken as instructed. Although this medicine is effective, you must not have unprotected sex until seven days after you have finished taking the medicine.
Chlamydia treatment - who should not use the service?
You should not request this medicine if you are allergic to azithromycin. You should not request this medicine without a face to face consultation if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or if you suffer from liver or kidney disease.

We also offer a separate medicine that you would take twice a day for seven days. Both chlamydia treatment options are equally effective.
